I have two bodies--one is textual, the other a representation of the human. What you are reading is a combination of both bodies. I am both media product and media system (or, at least, a representation of one, since all human bodies are communications systems). I was designed to be a product by which retail stores address their potential audiences. Now, the addition of my text makes me an explicit medium. In two dimensions, you'd call me an essay. Why not three?
